Integración de las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación TIC en la Educación Superior Impacto en el Rendimiento Académico

Resumen

La presente revisión literaria tiene como objetivo analizar el impacto de la integración de las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TIC) en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes universitarios. A raíz de la transformación digital acelerada por la pandemia, las universidades han incorporado diversas plataformas tecnológicas en sus modelos educativos, sin que exista todavía un consenso claro sobre su efectividad en términos de desempeño académico. Se revisaron investigaciones recientes publicadas en revistas indexadas de acceso abierto, abarcando estudios nacionales e internacionales. Los hallazgos indican que el uso estratégico de las TIC puede mejorar la motivación, la retención del conocimiento y el compromiso estudiantil, especialmente cuando se integra de forma coherente con la planificación pedagógica. Sin embargo, también se evidencian limitaciones como la brecha digital, la sobrecarga cognitiva y la falta de formación docente. Se concluye que el impacto de las TIC no es uniforme y depende de múltiples factores institucionales, disciplinares y personales. Finalmente, se proponen recomendaciones para una implementación más efectiva de estas tecnologías en la educación superior, con énfasis en la capacitación docente, la equidad digital y la evaluación continua del proceso de innovación educativa
